“This will greatly increase the potential pool of participants and thus allow our players to play for bigger winnings.” “I am pleased that our West Virginia iGaming providers will now have the opportunity to offer multi-state poker to our players,” says West Virginia Lottery Director John Myers. Prior to launch in West Virginia, iGaming service providers wishing to offer multi-state online poker will have submit a letter of intent to the West Virginia Lottery, and gain necessary approvals from West Virginia and other relevant member states. The move gives West Virginia-based online poker players the ability to compete against players from the association’s other member jurisdictions, which are Delaware, Michigan, Nevada, and New Jersey.
The Multi-State Internet Gaming Association has welcomed its fifth member with the addition of West Virginia.
